His curiosity led him from Bachelor degrees in Sociology and Political Science through Master degrees in both Sociology and Human Resources/Industrial Relations. As Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at the University of St. Thomas, Pat has continually shared his curiosity and vast experience with students for over twenty years.
As you might guess, Pat's experience has taken him far afield of any ivory tower. Although his studies provided a foundation, the real learning generally happened in the trenches, often, on the fly. Pat has held and managed every level role from individual contributor to high-performing team member to leader and CEO. He knows first-hand the ins and outs and obstacles associated with every position through the ranks. And Pat gets that to effect lasting change, employee and leadership development strategies must be relevant and significant.
